Virtual Private Servers are a popular solution for those who are outgrowing their shared hosting account, or for those who want to retain full control of their server, while not making the leap to colocating or leasing a dedicated server. A VPS is a container with its own operating system, isolated from the other VPSs on the server.
All of our virtual private servers are powered by Red Hat Linux and Virtuozzo. Virtuozzo creates multiple isolated virtual servers on a single physical server allowing the sharing of resources like RAM and disk space. Each VPS can be rebooted independently of the others and has it's own root access, IP addresses, RAM and hard drive space.
